Mary O’Keeffe

Archaeologist & Secretary, ICOMOS New Zealand

Mary O’Keeffe is a heritage consultant, based in Wellington, New Zealand. She works as an archaeologist, and she has a particular interest in the relationship between archaeology and the environment and how each determines and shapes the other. She has run her own consultancy, Heritage Solutions, for 20 years. Prior to this she worked for New Zealand’s Governmental heritage agencies. She is current secretary and a past president of ICOMOS New Zealand.
