Classical guitarists have been as artists in residence at East Perth Cemeteries. They were asked to interpret themes and stories that arose from their consideration of the collection of graves. The project included the commission of an original composition was commissioned as an additional contemporary response. The resulting guitar quartet performances on site formed a fully immersive, engaging and unique interpretive experience that attracted new audiences.
