Suzanne Bravery is a cultural heritage professional with 30 years’ experience in museums, focusing on best practice access to cultural heritage through interpretation including public programs and exhibitions, research, heritage conservation and conservation housekeeping and collections development. From 1986-2008 her curatorial responsibility was for key properties of significance in the (now) Sydney Living Museums portfolio including Vaucluse House, Meroogal, Elizabeth Farm and Rouse Hill house and farm. She was General Manager, Programs and Services at Museums and Galleries NSW, Manager of the Grainger Museum, Manager Eryldene historic house and garden and Senior Curator at North Sydney Council. In April 2016 Suzanne took up the position of Head, Australian Society and History at the National Museum of Australia. She has been a member of ICOMOS Australia since 1995 and is on the National Committee.
